We want to keep you informed about recent changes in trade regulations that may affect your orders. As of AUGUST 29TH 2025, the de minimis exemption—which previously allowed low-value goods to enter the country duty-free—has been removed.
What does this mean?
-
Previously: Many small or low-value shipments could enter without paying import duties or tariffs, thanks to the de minimis threshold.
-
Now: All shipments, regardless of value, may be subject to import duties, tariffs, and/or taxes.
This change is being implemented by customs authorities to create a more level playing field between domestic and international sellers, as well as to increase government revenue from imports.
How this impacts your orders
-
Possible additional costs: Depending on your location, you may now see duties, tariffs, or VAT applied at checkout or upon delivery.
-
Longer processing times: Customs may take additional time to process shipments since all packages are now reviewed for tariff applicability.
-
Transparency at checkout: We are working to provide the most accurate cost estimates upfront so you know what to expect before placing an order.
